The Florida Highwaymen style was the inspiration of this Original HighwayDAN. I added my own edge with the blending of paint colors and high-gloss varnish, which created a crazy~cool~hazy~smokey~vibe. I affectionately named this painting after the classic tune - Deep Purple’s - Smoke on the Water. $500

Southern Cross is a constellation of the brightest four stars in the Southern Hemisphere that provided directional guidance to early sailors.
The dark ambience of the night sky features the glittery moon that highlights the ship’s sails and rough waters of the ocean. It was affectionately named Southern Cross after the 1982 Crosby, Stills & Nash song.

I was born and raised in Tampa and I remember my mother taking me and my four siblings to the Gasparilla parade to watch the pirate invasion from Bayshore Boulevard. It's been a Tampa tradition since 1904 and anyone living around the Tampa Bay Area knows about this Parade of Pirates you can watch from many vantage points in Tampa Bay. Bayshore Boulevard sits along the waters of Tampa Bay and is the longest continuous sidewalk in the United States showcasing the beautiful architecture of the balustrades. $500

Since 1904, Tampa has been home to “Gasparilla.” The Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla sails across Tampa Bay, commencing the ‘Parade of Pirates’ that kicks off a friendly invasion full of festivities on the last Saturday in January. This water parade’s focal point is the pirate ship equipped with colorful flags and loud cannons, followed by thousands of revelers on private boats. $750
This painting is my interpretation of the Gasparilla pirate ship being the ever-so-colorful focal point representing the invasion (aka the party) about to begin!

My wife and I went to Oahu, Hawaii, for a milestone birthday, and our favorite day was when we rented a car and drove around the entire island. Along our drive, we saw Mokoli’i (aka Chinaman’s Hat). The view was so gorgeous it was permanently etched in my mind, and this painting is the result. $300

Bloodlines captures the strength and elegance of the horse through a stained-glass effect, where bold lines fracture the surface into shifting planes of color. The neutral tones emphasize the form’s quiet power, while a vivid pop of red draws the eye and suggests vitality pulsing beneath the surface. The lines themselves, structured yet fluid, trace the contours of the horse, almost like veins of light, highlighting both its physical presence and the heritage of racing carried within. $750

We all know, bourbon barrel aging takes PATIENCE.
Under federal standards after Bourbon is distilled it must be placed into charred new oak barrels for aging at no greater than 125 proof. To be considered straight bourbon the bourbon must be aged for at least two years.
Maker’s Mark ages their barrels between six and seven years for their distinct flavor. As we gaze at this up close hand painted original of a Maker’s Mark office in Loretto, KY, we must have patience. $350

Glinda the Good Witch arrives in her translucent floating bubble and the Wicked Witch of the West is on a mission to grab her sister’s shoes. Magically, Glinda transfers the shoes to Dorothy’s feet and tells her to never take them off, as the slippers must be very powerful or the Wicked Witch would not want them so badly. $750

While it may look like I used a stencil or ruler on this piece, it is 100% hand painted and it brought out the Easy Rider in me. It pays homage to the vintage 60’s peace sign that was born during the Vietnam era. I named this piece, “What’s Going On” as a tribute to Marvin Gaye’s song that was released in 1971. With all happening in our world today, this ‘peace’ has so many meanings that still ring true. ✌🏻☮️ & ❤️
